I’m thrilled to announce that my short story Ash will be included alongside some rather amazing talent in the upcoming dystopian sci-fi anthology Tuned to a Dead Channel. Dagda Publishing have put together this thought-provoking collection and I’ve had a sneak peak at the some of the other stories featured and it looks to be a varied and engaging collection.
(I have been promised zombies!)
Officially it will be out 20th September, and both hard and electronic copies will be available, I believe, from Amazon. More details soon!
For those who haven’t read it, Ash is a short story set in the future during a time of global recession in which inter-space trade boycotts have been issued against Earth. It’s a bad time to be Earth-born. You have to have a lisence to even be alive. This is the story of Argyle who is inspired to try and create a future in this mess for someone he cares about, after spending a lifetime perfecting the art of laying low and making do.
I loved writing Ash and am more pleased than I can say to see it get a chance to get out there. It is a great feeling.
Let’s hope people enjoy reading it us much as I enjoyed writing it!
